About 2014 Chicago Auto Show
With Arctic temperatures the norm this year in the Windy City, the 2014 Chicago Auto Show seems like a great excuse to spend some time indoors. Thankfully, there’s plenty of room to stretch out, as the Chicago show is held in one of the biggest venues in the nation.
This year it looks like it will be an odd mix of new cars, trucks and SUVs. BMW has already fired the first shot and announced that it will unveil a diesel version of its flagship 7 Series sedan. Long a fixture in Europe, diesel luxury sedans are finally starting to make inroads into the American market.
BMW isn’t the only manufacturer making news in Chicago. Subaru has also scheduled a world debut of an all-new vehicle while Ford, Nissan and Toyota will also have press conferences to show off new vehicles. Given that Chicago is typically used to show off new trucks and SUVs, don’t be surprised to see the refreshed 2015 Lincoln Navigator along with a big display of the all-new Ford F-150. The preview starts on February 6, so check back then for all the latest news and photos.
